TTD Board Members

President

Sandy Matheny

Living in the same Montana valley with Dee provided a great opportunity to be a part of whatever project she was working on. She could be a powerfully persuasive force when seeking help with those projects!

We enjoyed many ‘campfires’ together from the founding of the TTDialogues, through two exploratory studies and her final book (and many, many bowls of soup and ice cream). We did not do that alone. It has been an incredible honor to work with her and with all of you who have been a part of continuing her work over the years.

VICE PRESIDENT

Lin Bauer

I have been practicing TT for over 30 years and teaching TT for over 20 years. I was fortunate to be able to visit Dee often in the pre-Dialogue years to do various projects and "honey-do" list items with three others every May and August.

In 2011, Dee formed the non-profit Therapeutic Touch Dialogues, Inc and I (along with the 3 others of this project group as well as several additional folks) were asked to be on the original Board for TTD. It has been and continues to be an honor to serve in this capacity.

BOARD MEMBER

Kathy Arquette

I am a joyful TT practitioner! I deepened my practice through visits to Dee at The Rockery where we attended to her "honey-do" list.

These visits were a gateway to involvement as a board member of TT Dialogues. TT truly is a lifeway!

TREASURER

Sue Conlin

I was introduced to Therapeutic Touch in 1990, and within a short period of time, it became a lifeway for me. My primary professional relationships have been with small businesses and not-for-profits. My skills in accounting and management support my role as Treasurer of TTD.

BOARD MEMBER

Pat Cole, MD

I have practiced as a holistic family physician for many years. I met Dee Krieger in 2007, first as her doctor and eventually as her student and friend. I have served on the TTD Board since it began in 2010.

I found TT to be an essential aspect of my self care, my care for family, friends and healing partners. As I've progressed spiritually the foundations of TT, especially grounding, setting aside my mind talk and opening to what is, have served me exceptionally well.

BOARD MEMBER

Kathy Wilmering

Kathy Wilmering, MSW ARNP BC QTTT. As archivist for the TTDialogues Board, I am entrusted with archiving 60+ years of Dolores (“Dee”) Krieger and Dora Kunz’s scholarly papers, books, and other media.

I had the pleasure of studying Therapeutic Touch for several decades with both Dee and Dora, and as a frequent visitor to Dee’s home, I was able to record many hours of vivid oral history of their travels and encounters as they developed Therapeutic Touch.

SECRETARY

Mary Anne Hanley

Mary Anne Hanley, PhD, RN, SGAHN, QTTT, has been a student of Dee Krieger and Dora Kunz since 1984. She has been practicing, teaching, and studying about TT for more than 4 decades. She serves on the planning committee for the annual Therapeutic Touch Dialogues in Columbia Falls, MT. Recently, officially retired, Mary Anne contributes to TT courses and the ongoing support of the associations that promote the use of TT. Her national and international presentations and publications focus on healing, Therapeutic Touch, improvisation, aesthetics, reflective dialogue, and informatics.  She is a contributing author to the Holistic Nursing: A Handbook for Practice, 8th Ed.
